Sustainability

Sustainability is a cross-cutting issue which affects all aspects of the biofuels supply chain. A key goal of the National Biofuels Action Plan is to maximize the environmental and economic benefits of biofuels use by advancing sustainable practices and improvements in efficiency throughout the biofuels supply chain.  By compiling and evaluating biofuels sustainability criteria, benchmarks and indicators, the Board aims to lead biofuels development on a sustainable path.
